Ten Million Lights play Doug Fir

28 Jan

Ten Million Lights are excited to be playing the Doug Fir Lounge in Portland, OR on 1/29/11 with two of our favorite bands, The Prids and The Upsidedown.  We are also happy that NW Live Music, a  local television show that airs on Portland Community Media, will be present filming both the show and an interview with the band.  The feature is set to be aired in early March 2011.

Ten Million Lights play The Fuzzy Ball

2 Jan

Ten Million Lights are excited to have been selected to play Reverb Records’ The Fuzzy Ball at both Neumo’s in Seattle, WA and The Wonder Ballroom in Portland, OR.  We had an amazing time, made a ton of new friends and loved watching some of our favorite bands grace the stage.  Check out this video of 10ML playing Fast Asleep at Neumo’s.

So many amazing bands played the festival including Pete International Airport, This Blinding Light, The Prids, 1776, Happy Prescriptions, The Purrs, Joy Wants Eternity, Hawkeye, We Miss The Earth, but some of the highlights of the night included Rick Bain & The Genius Position playing The Stone Rose's I Wanna Be Adored, Cest la Mort playing Lush's Sweetness and The Light, and The Upsidedown doing The Jesus and Mary Chain.

Thanks to KEXP, Pop Tomorrow and Another Rainy Saturday for helping to publicize the event.
